Muonionalusta is classified as a IVA fine octahedrite iron meteorite. It was first discovered near Kiruna, Sweden in 1906 while a gentleman was digging a foundation for a house. A number of masses have been found over the years in the extreme terrain north of the Arctic Circle. All of these offered here were personal finds during an expedition I was on in 2007.
After removing the outer 'shell' that formed after thousands of years buried underground, the natural Widmanstatten pattern became visible in 3D form as can be seen on the 6691 and 3104 gram individuals making for very unique display pieces!!
