NWA 2917, a very interesting LL4 Shock Melt Breccia (SMB), S3, W2 Chondrite found in Northwest Africa in 2005. The contrast between the shock areas and matrix give this chondrite an almost achondritic appearance. It is rare for a LL type chondrite to display SMB features making this an interesting piece. The Total Known Weight is 3,579 grams.
