NWA 7272 is a rare Martian "Microgabbroic Shergottite" that is very fresh and exhibits a busy matrix intermixed with clear maskelynite containing vesicles. The very fine gabbro crystals are so defined and fresh that one could get lost for hours while examining it under a microscope. At the very low Total Known Weight of just 58.7 grams, after type sample requirement and cutting/polishing losses, there isn't much of this fresh Martian meteorite to go around. This is a 'Must Have' for any serious meteorite collection!
