Seymchan is a pallasite meteorite that was originally found in the dry lake bed of the river Hekandue, a left tributary of the river Jasacnaja in the Magadan district, Russia, near the settlement of Seymchan, June 1967. Additional masses have been discovered in following years.
The specimens I offer here are from a single 54 kilogram mass and expertly prepared to display and preserve this very stable pallasite. These specimens have the best of all that this meteorite has to offer; Green Crystals, Large Chromite inclusions and a great balance of crystals-metal (approximately 2/3 crystals).
